Petri Dishes

Typically made of borosilicate glass or clear plastics (such as polystyrene or polycarbonate), petri dishes are shallow cylindrical containers with fitted lids. Designed specifically for microbiology or cell culture use, petri dishes come in a variety of sizes and can be disposable or reusable. Reusable petri dishes can withstand repeated wet or dry sterilization procedures.
