How to Compare Slices Side by Side

This tutorial explains how to perform a side-by-side comparison of two slices that display different information; for example, of raw data and its corresponding labeled image.

Performing a side-by-side comparison of the renderings of data and of its analysis can be useful in many situations. This tutorial shows how to set the display in order to compare raw data alongside its labeled image.

First, Ortho Slices for both images are created, and each Ortho Slice is displayed in a separate viewer. Then you are shown how to synchronize the camera of both viewers. Finally, we demonstrate how to synchronize the 'Slice Number' ports of the Ortho Slices using the Connection Editor to ensure that the same slice is compared between viewers.
