XFiber Automation
To make use of XFiber, the user usually needs to input many parameters. This package provides 2 tools to ease Xfiber process by presetting Cylinder Correlation and Auto Trace Correlation modules values.
Note: the units settings must be set to micrometer for this module to work as expected.
Before starting a project or loading a dataset, go to Menu > Edit > Preferences. In the "Units" tab, set "Display units" and "Working units" to micrometer.
Auto Cylinder Correlation module:
This module provides a basic interface and presets for simplified use of the Cylinder Correlation module.
Port:
Mode port lets the user select among several presets of fiber diameters.
If the Manual mode is selected, the user can enter the fiber diameter manually.
Auto Trace Correlation Lines module:
This module provides a basic interface and presets for simplified use of the Trace Correlation Lines module.
Ports:
Smoothing option allows the user to smooth the generated fibers.
Direction Coefficient allows the user to select among several types of fibers depending on their curvature: straight, moderately curved, or curly.
