Lab tour at the University of Arizona LaserCon Center (ALC)

Wednesday, January 17 | 5 - 8:30 p.m. (MST) | University of Arizona LaserCon Center (ALC)

The lab tour of the Arizona LaserChron Center that supports geochronologic research and served as a demo lab for researchers to experiment with Thermo Fisher ICP mass spectrometers.

Highlights included demonstrations of (1) high-precision isotope ratio measurements with the Thermo Scientific Neoma, and (2) mapping/imaging capabilities of Thermo Scientific Element2 and Thermo Scientific iCap Mass Spectrometers, which were connected to a Thermo Scientific Teledyne Iridia excimer laser system).
