Delivering allele-level resolution and speed in HLA genotyping

The AllType Rapid 11 Loci Kit combines Oxford Nanopore’s long-read, single-molecule sequencing, a simple workflow, and integrated, easy-to-use software to deliver fast, accurate, comprehensive high-resolution typing with very little hands-on time.
 

AllType Rapid produces data with high specificity, high read depth, and potentially less phase or cis-trans ambiguities in 11 HLA loci, with second-field concordance greater than 99% in as little as 4.5 hours for a single sample and 11 hours for multi-sample workflow (up to 24 samples).

Workflow

The single-sample workflow is designed for speed and simplicity with minimal hands-on time while the multi-sample workflow is designed to allow for flexible and efficient throughput while still leveraging the speed and simplicity of nanopore sequencing.

Analysis

Once sequencing on the Oxford Nanopore instrument is complete, our TypeStream Visual NGS Analysis software will automatically retrieve the data and begin analysis. As the base calling is live, you can see the files created in real time and stop the sequencer when there are enough reads, reducing the turnaround time for results.

By eliminating manual data transcription, the software simplifies data reporting and eliminates opportunities for errors.
