The GP Pro centrifuge series is available as ventilated models (X1) or refrigerated models (X1R) as well as for general laboratory use or IVD certified.
Performance features:
Intuitive touch screen user interface simplifies operation with easily accessible menu bar and centrifuge health icon for at-a-glance monitoring
Thermo Scientific™ Accumulated Centrifugal Effect (ACE™) integrator function for increased reproducibility
Thermo Scientific™ SMARTSpin™ imbalance technology optimizes safety and maximizes acceleration, braking and residual load imbalance for each rotor and bucket option
Thermo Scientific™ Auto-Lock™ Rotor Exchange:
Secure, ergonomic push-button rotor exchange in as little as three seconds with no tools required
Full chamber access for cleaning convenience and minimizes risk of contamination
Flexibility to quickly switch between applications and evolve changing laboratory needs
Biocontainment sealing options for glove-friendly, one-handed open/close capability are ergonomically designed for both right and left-handed operations
Audible and visual closure cues enhance safety and security
Biocontainment certification by National Institute for Health Protection, Porton Down, UK or TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, Germany
Rotor versatility and Thermo Scientific™ Fiberlite™ Carbon Fiber Rotors:
Up to 17 unique rotor options, including Fiberlite Carbon Fiber Rotor options, to maximize performance and flexibility
Fiberlite carbon fiber rotors are supported by a 15-year warranty and no limitation in cycles of use
Carbon fiber offers a unique ability to mold each cavity to perfectly fit disposable conical tubes, bottles, and other consumables
Safety and ergonomic features:
Space saving design with compact dimensions to optimize work area at an ergonomic height
Lid safety features promote ergonomic sample loading and unloading and enable easy cleaning
Energy efficiency:
System offers up to 40% energy consumption savings on industry standard protocols, such as standard blood separation or conical tube processing
Scheduling and compressor on/off capability promotes energy savings
Fiberlite rotors weigh up to 60% less than metal equivalent rotors and therefore accelerate/decelerate faster translating into reduced energy consumption per run.*
