Applications
Convenient and selective reagent for the selective formylation of terminal amino groups in such basic amino acids as ornithine or lysine and formylation of α-amino groups in peptides.

Solubility
Hydrolyzes in water. Soluble in dichloromethane.

Notes
Moisture and light sensitive. Store away from water/moisture, oxidizing agents and light. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition. Store in dark. Store under inert gas. Protect from exposure to light.
