Other SYBR Green Master Mixes

Our legacy SYBR Green master mixes, including Power SYBR Green PCR Master MixSYBR Green PCR Master MixFast SYBR Green qPCR Master Mix, and SYBR Select Master Mix have long supported researchers with their qPCR analysis. However, for optimal results we recommend upgrading to our newest master mixes, which offer superior performance and compatibility with any qPCR instrument.


Master mix performance data

For reliably accurate qPCR data, our latest formulation, PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix, has been optimized to provide highly specific target amplficiation and excellent data reproducibilty over a wide dynamic rage.

Real-time PCR was performed using universal human reference (UHR) cDNA and primers targeting PGK1 (phosphoglycerate kinase 1), ARL1 (ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 1), and SNF8 (vacuolar-sorting protein). Reactions were run in quadruplicate using master mixes from different suppliers. PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix generated a single melt curve in 100% of the reactions, indicating specific target amplification.

PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix shows reproducibility over a wide dynamic range. Six assays (PGK1, ARL1,SNF8, DF, GAPDH, and Corf1 19) were run in quadruplicate with UHR cDNA generated from four different RT kits. Assays were run with a 6-fold dilution series and 400 nM primer concentration.
