Virtually interact with the instrument on a lab space by launching the augmented reality (AR tool) on mobile device

Learn how: To launch the augmented reality (AR) experience, access one of the interactive 3D tours on your mobile device by looking for the AR symbol.  The AR feature will access your camera function. Please remove any covers from the camera lenses.

  • Placing the instrument: Aim your mobile phone camera at a flat surface. The instrument should appear within 5 seconds. Your operating system may offer instructions if the camera cannot locate a flat surface.
  • Moving the instrument: Using one finger, tap and hold the model of the instrument on the screen and drag the model to your desired location.
  • Rotating the instrument: Place two fingers on the model and make a twisting motion to rotate the model.
  • Scaling the instrument: Using your thumb and forefinger, pinch to scale the instrument smaller or larger. The percent to scale will appear on the screen.
