Human metaphase chromosomes hybridized to centromere probes labeled with ChromaTide® OBEA-dCTP nucleotides. Probes specific to the a-satellite sequences from human chromosome 17, chromosome 15 and chromosome 1 were labeled using nick translation with ChromaTide® Alexa Fluor® 488-7-OBEA-dCTP (green; Cat. no. C21555), ChromaTide® Alexa Fluor® 594-7-OBEA-dCTP (red; Cat. no. C21558) and ChromaTide® Alexa Fluor® 647-12-OBEA-dCTP (pink; Cat. no. C21559), respectively. The probes were hybridized to metaphase spreads from peripheral blood lymphocyte cultures. The chromosomes were counterstained with Hoechst 33342 (blue) (Cat. no. H1399, H3570, H21492).
