This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59052. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
SKI8 is a component of the PAF and SKI complex which is composed of SKI2, SKI3 and SKI8. These are involved in transcriptional regulation and events downstream of RNA synthesis. Interaction of the SKI complex with SKI7 links the SKI complex to the exosome in order to perform mRNA degradation.
