The Thermo Scientific™ NanoDrop™ Eight Multichannel UV-Vis spectrophotometer measures 8 samples at a time in less than 20 seconds, enabling quick and efficient analysis of your sample quantity and quality. Built-in Thermo Scientific™ Acclaro™ Sample Intelligence technology can identify sample contaminants and report true sample concentrations. The Qubit Flex Fluorometer is a benchtop fluorometer designed for highly accurate quantification of DNA, RNA, microRNA, and protein. With the Qubit Flex Fluorometer you have the flexibility to directly measure fluorescence of up to eight samples simultaneously.

NanoDrop Eight spectrophotometer features

  • Wider dynamic range - measure higher concentration samples without dilution: up to 10,000 ng/μL dsDNA or 145 mg/mL IgG
  • Auto-Measure and Auto-Blank functions - multi-sample processing can be streamlined with instant measurements that occur when the pedestal arm is down; these functions can be turned ON or OFF
  • Ergonomic ambidextrous pipetting - the pedestal array is aligned perpendicular to the front of the instrument creating a natural pipetting motion for users; the pipette guide is magnetic and movable from side-to-side allowing left- and righthanded users to quickly and comfortably dispense samples
  • Automated exports for LIMS - data can be automatically exported to a selected directory; LIMS software can sweep the folder to pull in NanoDrop Eight instrument data for archiving

Specialized software algorithms provide clear information about the true concentration of your nucleic acid or protein despite any possible interfering effects of sample contaminants, so you can understand your sample composition and ensure your downstream experiments go right the first time.

  • Contaminant identification - recognizes common contaminants in nucleic acid and protein samples that could inhibit downstream reactions or falsely elevate calculated concentrations
