Orion Star T930 イオン滴定装置は、食品中の塩、飲用水や廃水中の塩化物、廃水中のアンモニアおよび総ケルダール窒素（TKN）、消費者向け製品中の界面活性剤、水の総硬度などのイオン滴定に使用することができます。滴定技法として、当量点滴定やプリセット mV 値を終点とする終点滴定に加え、複数既知量添加法（MKA）などがあります。MKA 法では、一定分量の標準液をサンプルに添加して自動的にキャリブレーションとサンプル濃度の計算を行うため、キャリブレーションを別途実施する必要がなく、マトリックス効果が最小限に抑えられます。
