The GeneChip™ Hybridization Control Kit is required for use with GeneChip eukaryotic expression arrays

Each kit contains 20X Hybridization Control Stock composed of pre-mixed biotin-labeled bioB, bioC, bioD and cre, in staggered concentrations, ready to be added directly to the hybridization cocktail. These controls facilitate monitoring of the hybridization process for troubleshooting.

In addition, this kit also contains Control Oligo B2, used to provide alignment signals for image analysis. (Additional Oligo B2 can be ordered separately.)

All kit components have been thoroughly tested to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.

Labeled with the GeneChip IVT Labeling Kit, these control kits replace the previous generation Hybridization Control Kits.

The GeneChip™ Hybridization Control Kit is also available as part of the Complete Reagent Packages for Eukaryotic Arrays.

We offer two GeneChip Hybridization Control Kits, that differ in size:
- Cat. No. 900454: 30 rxns
- Cat. No. 900457: 150 rxns
Both contain 20X Hybridization Control Shock and Control Oligo B2.

The four transcripts are added to the hybridization cocktail at staggered concentrations. At 1.5 pM, bioB is at the detection limit for most expression arrays and is anticipated to be called Present at least 50% of the time. In contrast, the other controls should be called Present all of the time, with increasing Signal values (bioC, bioD, and cre, respectively).
