Hank's balanced salt solution was injected into this cavity to rinse. Next, the cells were dislodged with trypsin-EDTA. the cells were cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) supplemented with 10% fetal calf serum, 100 U/mL penicillin, and 100 ug/mL streptomycin.
