Standard factory warranty for NanoDrop instruments

NanoDrop Ultra/UltraC/UltraFL/UltraCFL spectrophotometers come with a standard 2-year factory warranty, while all other NanoDrop instruments come with a standard 1-year factory warranty. During the system warranty period, all costs for shipping, labor, and parts for repairs are covered. Preventive maintenance is not included.


NanoDrop extended warranty (service plan)

Many customers in the US and Canada choose to purchase an extended warranty or service plan to protect their NanoDrop when the Factory Warranty expires. A service plan can:

  • Maximize system uptime with fast repair turnaround time from manufacturer-trained and certified engineers
  • Extend the life of your system and keep it running at peak performance with annual preventive maintenance

For NanoDrop customers in the US and Canada, all repair service is performed at our depot in Madison, WI. Parts, labor, and shipping for your repairs are included. Planned preventive maintenance is available both on-site and at the depot.

Obtaining service for NanoDrop instruments

If your instrument is covered under a factory warranty or service plan, parts, labor, and shipping are covered at no extra charge. Otherwise, you can pay for service with a purchase order or credit card.


Qualification services for NanoDrop instruments

You can add qualification services to complement your service plan. Instrument hardware qualifications for the NanoDrop Ultra/UltraC/UltraFL/UltraCFL, NanoDrop One/OneC, and NanoDrop Eight document and verify that the instrument or software is installed and operating properly.

 

Instrument qualification (IQ) provides documented evidence and verification that the instrument has been delivered and installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

 

Operational qualification (OQ) provides documented verification that the instrument subsystems are operating as designed, and verifies that the functionality of an instrument meets the manufacturer’s operational specifications.

 

IQ and OQ are recommended at installation, after moving the instrument, after software or hardware upgrades, and after planned maintenance or critical repairs. Our qualification specialists will partner with you to deliver timely, cost-effective, and trusted qualification services that include reliable, audit-style documentation that will help ensure your instruments meet regulatory requirements.
