Thermo Scientific™ OPC™ UA Gateway for Biological Safety Cabinets utilizes the OPC™ UA interoperability communication protocol to enable a secure and reliable exchange of real-time and historical data between Distributed Control Systems (DCS), such as the Emerson™ DeltaV™ system, and other systems, applications, and enterprise users.

What is OPC UA?

Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC™ UA) is a platform-independent, open industry standard for connectivity that enables machine-to-machine communication and information integration between various devices, software systems, and applications.

The gateway accessory kit comes complete with a gateway device, USB 2.0 cable USB-A to USB-B connector, and 100-240 V power supply. One kit is needed per Biological Safety Cabinet connection.
