Alexa Fluor 420 Dyeis a fluorescence-based dye optimized for fluorescence microscopy including multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC), spatial imaging, and other advanced imaging applications. With excitation/emission maxima of 420/500 nm, this dye is ideal for the CFP filter on fluorescence microscopes. It provides bright, photostable fluorescence for clear detection in complex samples.
We offer the Alexa Fluor 420 dye in a variety of formats to support your unique experimental needs. Choose from our menu of pre-conjugated primary antibodies for direct use. For more flexible antibody or protein labeling, we offer the stand-alone, amine-reactive Alexa Fluor 420 dye. For an all-in-one labeling solution, we offer the ReadyLabel Alexa Fluor 420 Antibody Labeling kit. Whether you need flexibility in your labeling approach or ready-to-use conjugates, we provide solutions that streamline your workflow and enhance experimental reproducibility.

Multiplex IHC staining on healthy colon and colon adenocarcinoma tissues to visualize key biomarkers. Healthy and diseased colon tissues underwent antigen retrieval, blocking, and permeabilization steps. The tissues were stained with a 9-plex panel of fluorescently labeled antibodies, including Alpha-Smooth Muscle Actin (Alexa Fluor 420, cyan). The Invitrogen EVOS S1000 Spatial Imaging System imaged the brain tissues at 20x magnification to visualize cellular markers.
